I am a qualified and registered hypnotherapist in Stockport, Cheshire, near Manchester, in the UK using hypnosis within hypnotherapy for a wide range of conditions. We are within easy traveling distance of Manchester, Altrincham, Ashton, Buxton, Glossop, Hyde, Macclesfield, Poynton, Sale, Wilmslow and other towns in Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Lancashire near to the Greater Manchester area.

Hypnotherapy can be beneficial for a wide range of conditions and we try to keep our fees / costs moderate in order to make these benefits as accessible as possible.

Assessments for Hypnotherapy

This is a very important part of the process. It is where we work together to compose a full picture of the problem/issue and identify all the relevant factors which are hindering you from achieving change. This enables me to propose a programme of hypnotherapy which is tailored to your personal needs and circumstances. Research shows that this personalised approach is most likely to help you achieve the success which you are seeking.

Fee for hypnotherapy assessment: £45

NB: For one session programmes or comprehensive programmes of hypnotherapy the cost of assessment is included in the total costs given below.

Hypnotherapy Fee / Cost Per Session

Cost per 1 hour session: £45

If you are unable to attend a session please inform me as early as possible by telephone or email. This enables me to try to use the time allocation for someone else. I also spend a significant amount of time preparing for your session in advance of your arrival. Unless there are exceptional circumstances eg: last minute illness, please give me 24 hrs advance notice for cancelling a particular session.

Fees / Costs for One Session Programmes or Comprehensive Programmes of Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy Stop Smoking Programmes

One session hypnotherapy to stop smoking (two hours inclusive of assessment): £90 (inclusive of assessment).
Discounts: Reduction of £15 per person for group of three or more people. Reduction of £10 per person for group of two people.

Four Session Hypnotherapy Programme to Stop Smoking (inclusive of assessment plus three sessions of hypnotherapy): £180 (inclusive of assessment).

Fees / Costs for Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy

One session of 2 hours: £65. Generally a recording of the session will be provided.

Fee / Cost for Personalised Hypnotherapy CD for Reinforcement and Home Practice

Charge for personalised hypnotherapy CD: £15
NB: This is always subject to the technology working on the day resulting in a successful recording. I edit the recording, burn it to a CD and then hand it to you or forward it by post. If the original recording did not take the £15 will be refunded. With the exception of one off smoking programmes it may be possible to attempt another recording at a future session.

Payment Methods

With the exception of online payments advance payments are not required. You pay for each session at the time of the session. You may pay by cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to Paul McGlone.

Alternatively, you may pay on-line through the NOCHEX secure payment facility. UK credit/debit cards accepted. It is not necessary to register with NOCHEX and they will not charge you a fee for making a payment. However please note that if you use this facility we have to charge an additional fee as indicated below to cover the NOCHEX charges to ourselves. All payments using this facility need to be made in advance of the session

Payment for Past Life Regression Session: £65 + £1.65 administrative fee.

"Tranquil Spirit" is a short distance from Stockport Town Centre and Railway Station and on the main bus route between Stockport and Bramhall. Davenport Railway Station (on the Manchester to Buxton/Hazel Grove line) is ten minutes walk away. The M60 Manchester Outer Ring Road is a short distance away (coming the west and south of Manchester via the Cheadle or Stockport junctions; from the east via the junction after Bredbury, signposted for Stockport) with good links to the M56, M6 and M62. We can provide fuller directions at the time of arranging a visit.

If you do not live nearby and it would be difficult for you to travel to us it may still be possible for us to do a home visit if you live in the Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire areas bordering on Greater Manchester.
